The support given to the AMS is meant to augment national initiatives to comply with the provisions of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD).

To facilitate the request for TA from ACB, the following are recommended:

1. The CHM-NFPs shall initiate the request for the TA from ACB through their respective ASOEN Chair.  The country ASOEN Chair shall endorse the request. (download Request for Technical Assistance form)
2. The request should indicate activities for which the TA is intended for, including a brief description of each and timelines, expected deliverables, and budgetary requirement.(download Activity Design form)
3. The total budget should also indicate counterpart funding (item 4 of Activity Design) of at least twenty percent (20%) of the total cost (~USD1,500.00), and other sources of fund.
